THREE-IN-ONE EXPERIENCE AT SOESTDIJK
The “Three-in-One Experience” was a temporary exhibition at Palace Soestdijk, on view from 5 September through 26 October 2025. It brought together three distinct elements: a selection from Maya Meijer’s private art collection, theatrical costumes by Rien Bekkers, and the historic Gobelins from the Waterloo Room. The exhibition blended art, history, and theatre into one immersive presentation.
The three components of the exhibition:
- The World of Maya:
A presentation of selected artworks from the private collection of owner Maya Meijer-Bergmans. - Costume Objects by Rien Bekkers:
Theatrical, sculptural costumes bridging the worlds of fashion and visual art. - Gobelins of the sons of King William II and Anna Pavlovna:
Three monumental tapestries specially woven for the Waterloo Room.

Mahangoe presented one of his early works created in the Westergas area in 2012, titled Windows Westerpark. During this period, Mahangoe lived and worked in the Westerpark district and captured the surroundings throughout the seasons as part of his Window series—of which Window Vondelpark, Keizersgracht, and Amsterdamse Bos are also part.
